Thanks & Giving!

One of my favorite fellow China Mamas has put together something special for the month of November.

For everyday this month you just hop over to Threads Of Faithfulness and let Jeanette know what you are thankful for that day and what you did that day to give to others.

It sounds like a great idea to celebrate the season and a wonderful reminder that this life is not about us.



Thankfulness:

Yesterday I spent the day being thankful for my hubby and my boys.

Giving:

I gave up my "me" time yesterday by taking Zachary on a outing with me to the store and let him get a special treat. He was able to have one on one time with mommy.

I came home and made my family a homemade dinner of Chicken and Dumplings. I have to admit I too get something out of this.... It always feels good to hear my boys say "Mama Ummmmm".

I spent a few hours last night working on a bible study I put together for a few ladies I used to work with. I truly desire for this study to be a blessing and encouragement in their life, and for us all to allow the Lord to use it to change us more into His likeness.
