Good Stuff Cheap!

Thanks folks for some good ideas on Christmas with a budget! I have a few things in mind, but you will have to wait until after the holidays to see what I have come up with.

A bunch of my family reads this blog (the main reason I keep up with it) and I don't want to spoil their surprises!

I have to say yesterday was a awesome day of shopping on a budget!

Between gift cards, outlet sales, coupons and the Dollar Store I got the boys 5 gifts, 1 gift for my hubby, 1 gift for my husbands sister and something for my MIL and I have only spent $25 bucks so far!

I will share with you a few things I found for the boys... In case some of you other moms on a budget are interested.

The Dollar Store had Mickey Mouse Club House & Sesame Street Coloring Books for a buck of course. They had Disney Princess stuff as well, (for those of you with girls) but I'm not raising a bunch of sissies so we skipped those. :)

My boys also LOVE to wear hats and dress up. I found them Cowboy Hats and Stick Horses at the Dollar Store as well. Because ya gotta have a little Texas in your Christmas, and who can resist a little Chinese Cowboy? :)

The Disney Store Outlet has all their Handy Manny cups with straws on sale. I got two cups for under $5. (these I got a few weeks ago so you may have to see if they have any left) They also had Cinderella and Nemo for your little Disney lovers.

The OshKosh B'Gosh outlet was having a store wide 60% off sale... and a few things I found for 70% off! I had gift cards so I was able to stretch my money! Mama likes!

I'm thankful for good deals! WOO HOO! For my hubby's day off on Fridays, for lunch with a old friend this week and for little boys who smile and snuggle in when I sing "You Are My Sunshine" to them.
